We specialise in surgery for all kinds of gastrointestinal cancer, performed according to appropriate guidelines. We also deal with chemotherapy and palliative care for cancer. Conferences are held, where pre and post-surgical outcomes are discussed and decided upon. Where collaboration between multiple departments is necessary, the case is discussed and decided upon amongst a cancer board formed in the hospital.
We respond to emergency gastrointestinal surgery 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We also foster many upcoming and emerging general surgeons through the education and residency programs available at this hospital.

• Emergency gastrointestinal conditions (gastrointestinal perforation, trauma, cholecystitis, appendicitis, etc.)
