The stained glass on both sides provides a welcoming site to those entering the Outpatient Building. On the right or south side there is a waterfowl, frolicking between the waves of the calm Seto Inland Sea. This represents the happiness felt when disease is healed. On the left or north side is a falcon circling in the depths of the mountains, symbolising the founder and his subsequent generations watching over the hospital. Both were created by the katazome artist and national living treasure, Keisuke Serizawa.
